BioI was born in southern West Virgina (3rd house up the creek from the road in the holler with the graveyard). Moved to Ohio with my parents at about 2 years of age. Went to OSU and survived to get a BA. Married (to the same wonderful woman)for mumble-mumble years with 2 robustly healthy boys. Active in science fiction fandom longer than I have been married. Hobbies include photography, walking in the woods, cooking, and keeping my sanity while raising 2 robustly healthy boys. I have not shaved since 1969, which beats my paternal grandfather's dozen plus years during FDR's administration.
